The Location:

RivMaya3RivMaya2The Riviera Maya is a 112 mile stretch of paradise along the coastline of the Yucatan Peninsula. The area offers ecological tours, watersports, and fishing. When you arrive into Cancun, you will enjoy a scenic drive south to the Riviera Maya, with its unspoiled beaches, turquoise waters, tropical jungles and Mayan Ruins. With its proximity to Cancun, Cozumel and the most popular sites of the Yucatan it is no wonder that the Rivera Maya continues to be a favorite among vacationers.

RivMaya1While there are enough activities at your hotel to fill several vacations, if you want to venture out on your own, the Riviera Maya is a convenient distance from Isla Mujeres and Cancun—and extending south to the Mayan ruins at Tulum, Cozumel, Chichén Itzá, and Cobá. These are all within day-trip distance.
