guides or couriers are included, except for the game excursions in and

Wednesday, June 9
The flight is scheduled to arrive Cape Town at 7:30 a.m. Participants
will be transferred by private coach private coach to The Cullinan
Hotel, or similar, located near the V&A Waterfront. After
an independent lunch, the group will head to the Company Gardens
to begin the day's walking tour and explorations of the Iziko
museums and markets in central
Cape Town. .Independent return to the hotel to allow individuals

Thursday, June 10
Since morning offers the best chance for a clear vista, the
day begins with a private transfer to Table Mountain and a
cable car ride to the top. Return by private coach for an
independent lunch at the V&A Waterfront. Then, in the
afternoon depart from the dock in the V&A to Robben Island.
The 3½-hour tour includes a return trip across Table
Bay, a visit to the Maximum Security Prison, interaction with
an ex-political prisoner and a 45-minute bus tour with a guide

DISTRICT 6 MUSEUM
Friday, June 11
Private motorcoach to the Bo Kaap area, Bo Kaap Museum, and Khayalitsha
township, including lunch and visits to craft workshops. Afternoon
free. In the evening, a private guided tour is included of the
District Six Museum. A private motorcoach will take participants
to the museum, where they will be welcomed by the guide. After

Saturday June 12
The day is spent on an excursion to the winelands in a private
motorcoach., Enjoy wine tastings at three wineries, and lunch
is at the Tokara Wine Estate. Return to the hotel in the late

Sunday, June 13
The day is spent visiting the Cape Peninsula down to the Cape
of Good Hope in a private motorcoach.. Visit the Simons Town
penguin colony, ride the funicular to the light house at the
point, and Groot Constantia, one of the country's three great
manor houses and the oldest free-hold farm. Lunch is included.
With luck, one of the art galleries in Kalk Bay will be exhibiting
the works of an emerging South African artist. Return to the

BAT CENTRE DINNER
Monday, June 14
A private motorcoach will take participants to the airport for
the 11:45 a.m. flight to Durban, scheduled to arrive at 1:40p.
A private transfer to the Holiday Inn Marine Parade or similar
for a quick check-in, then a private transfer to the Indian market
and vendors along the esplanade. Afterwards, continue by private
motorcoach to the BAT Centre for a private dinner. [b- -d] Tuesday, June
15
A half day of private transportation is provided to visit the
African Art Center, the Indian Mosque and other city venues. This
evening, private round-trip transfers are provided between the
hotel and KwaMuhle Museum. Lunch and dinner, today, are independent.

KRUGER
Wednesday, June 16
A private motorcoach will take participants from the hotel
to the Durban airport for the 7 a.m. departure to Kruger.
Fly first to Johannesburg and then connect to Mpumalanga,
arriving at 10:55a. A private motorcoach will take participants
through Nelspruit, with a stop at government buildings. Afterwards,
continue to the Kruger Gate of Kruger National Park with an
overnight at the Protea Kruger Gate Hotel or similar. The
remainder of the afternoon is free to enjoy the facilities
of the hotel, including hides for bird watching and suspended
timber walkways through indigenous forest. After an early
dinner, enjoy a private night game drive in 4x4 vehicles into
a nearby private reserve, accompanied by a registered guide.

Friday, June 18
Private morning dawn game drive in Kruger in an open safari vehicle,
accompanied by a registered guide. Return around noon, and lunch
today is independent. A private motorcoach will then transfer
participants to the airport for the 3 p.m. departure to Johannesburg,
scheduled to arrive at 4:05p. A private motorcoach will transfer
participants to the Rosebank Courtyard Hotel or similar. The evening

Saturday, June 19
A private motorcoach will be available to take you this morning
on tour. You'll return to the hotel with the afternoon free. Day
rooms can be booked optionally. A private transfer by coach to
the airport for the 8 p.m. departure of South African Airways

Sunday, June 20
The flight stops in the Islo do Sol before arriving Atlanta at
8:20a. Detroit participants will depart Atlanta at 12:45p, with
a scheduled arrival of 2:41p.
